Soccer Mania!
I have no idea why but recently there were soooo many soccer themed cakes especially the Manchester United Fans! Hahaha! But It was fun making the soccer ball. The ball was quite a challenge initailly due to the hexagons and pentagons. I'm not a person who loves watching soccer so I did spend a long long time trying to decipher how I show place the shapes. Once I passed that, came my next challenge, in fact the most fustrating one! That was to get the size of the hexagon and pentagon right so that it would fit onto the ball nicely. I spent hours trying to get it right and finally, I managed to get a set which could fit as best as I would like! But after getting the template right it was much easier for the subsequent balls :D Thank goodness!!
Strangely, only Manchester United Fans order soccer balls? Would be nice to do another soccer club :D Anyone wanna order?
